Nick just took me through an Advanced Powerboat course, and I cannot recommend him enough. What really sets him apart is his deep practical experience of boat lore. He understands what is relevant to be learned, and gave me numerous insights into boat handling, navigation and a myriad of other points. The shore office is well appointed and has all the kit needed for the classroom aspects of the course. And the small RIB we used for water work is well equipped for the many tasks set, notably the night navigation expedition. All done with plenty of sangfroid and good humour! I really enjoyed meeting all of you. You made me feel really comfortable and the content was great. I felt like the course was a strong balance between theory and time on the water. I cannot recommend Nick and his team (we had Matt & Josh) highly enough. They are so welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. The course is brilliant and I would highly recommend anyone looking to get their licence, to use Boatability. Just completed my RYA Powerboat Level 2 course and really enjoyed it. Nick and Harley were great instructors, patient and extremely knowledgeable, and there was a good balance between classroom and practical learning. A very big thank you to Nick, Harley and the rest of the team. Just did my Powerboat level 2 course with Boatability and cannot recommend them highly enough. Not only is everyone very knowledgable but also very patient and have excellent teaching skills. They managed to pack a lot in a fun 2 days with a good combo of theory and practical stuff. Powerboat 2. Covered a lot in two days; split into practical boat experience and classroom learning & the right combination of both. Very professional, hands on with all aspects covered. I would highly recommend Boatability. From my initial phone call asking for advice, through to booking the courses, instructions for the courses & most importantly delivery of the courses themselves Nick and his team were top notch. I will definitely be returning for further courses in the future. Their approach is excellent & their knowledge is superb. Whether you are a beginner or experienced, I could not recommend them highly enough.
