A message from the Headteacher

A Eucharistic Community with a distinct identity within the wider community of the Parish, the Pastoral area, Diocese and the local and global community. A community where our shared sense of moral purpose is made explicit in the way we prepare children for life, developing their sense of faith and sowing the seeds which will allow them to make this faith their own. A community where both children and adults are led towards a better understanding of their sense of self and how they belong to and are able to join the community.

A community working in partnership with parents to support them in raising their children. Aided by the provision of facilities such as breakfast and after school clubs, parenting and information workshops, plus a wide range of extra curricular activities.

A culture of challenge, which leads to consistently high standards of attainment and progress throughout the school. Personalised learning which allows every child to recognise and use their God given talents in order to reach their full potential. Opportunities to excel in sporting, musical and artistic achievements. Consistently good teaching supported by innovative, exciting resources which stimulate the desire to learn and promote a positive attitude towards learning and life.
Appropriate provision for personal, social and emotional development which encourages individuals to feel good about themselves and recognise both the interdependence of human beings and the fact that young people are responsible for the future.

A shared culture where open, professional dialogue is the norm and all staff are able to develop personally and professionally in an environment of respect, consideration, co-operation and good humour. A calm, purposeful working environment where every person is respected as an individual and a true spirit of reconciliation is evident to heal the hurts of daily human life.
